Beamcast, proud distributor of Lectrosonics, is excited to announce the arrival of the latest innovations in wireless audio technology: the DCHT Digital Stereo Miniature Transmitter and the DCHR Portable Digital Stereo Receiver in the B1C1 frequency range (537-691 MHz). These cutting-edge devices are now available for purchase and offer unparalleled performance for film, television, corporate, and sports productions.
The DCHT Digital Stereo Miniature Transmitter is available in two configurations:
- DCHT/E01-B1C1: Designed for international use, covering 537 – 691 MHz with 25 kHz tuning steps and over 6000 frequencies.
- DCHT-B1C1: Tailored for North American use, operating from 537 – 663 MHz, avoiding restricted spectrum and providing access to the guard band (614.050 – 615.950 MHz) and Duplex Gap (653.050 – 662.950 MHz).
Both versions offer flexible RF power settings—10, 25, or 50 mW—allowing for adaptability in various environments. The DCHT can transmit two channels of mic or line level analog signals or an AES digital signal, compatible with Lectrosonics’ full range of digital receivers, including the DCHR, M2Ra, DSQD, DCHR822, DSR4, and DSR.
The DCHR Portable Digital Stereo Receiver features both analog and digital outputs via a locking TA5 jack and includes a headphone jack for real-time monitoring. It works seamlessly with any mono or stereo Lectrosonics digital transmitter. The DCHR, like the DCHT, supports AA battery power or can be externally powered with the optional LTBATELIM.
Both the DCHT and DCHR incorporate AES256-CTR encryption, ensuring secure content transmission across government, sports, and corporate applications. The devices support four encryption key policies—universal, standard, shared, and volatile—providing robust security options.
